The family of Chief James Ajibola Ige, SAN established a scholarship in his memory for indigent Public Private School students who are brilliant. Two winners; a male and a female are selected every year and given scholarship to study at The Vale College for their six years secondary education.
In 2013, the family of Hon Justice Atinuke Omobonike IGE JCA CFR established a scholarship in her memory for indigent Public Secondary Schools students who are brilliant. Two winners; a male and a female are selected every year and given scholarship to study at The Vale Tutorial College for their Cambridge Advanced Level Studies
Winners are chosen through a competitive written test and an oratory competition. Only students from Oyo and Osun states are eligible. The award is worth N2.5million for each student and covers tuition, boarding, books, feeding including internal and external examinations. 15 students have benefitted from it as at 2019/2020 session.
Students of The Vale Tutorial College visit Orphanages, Cheshire Homes and School For The Deaf to make donations to them every year. This is one of the numerous ways by which altruism is embedded in our students.
